Happy Birthday Vic

Yesterday we successfully celebrated Vic's 22nd.. I must say we are pretty excellent party planners.. Haha.. Managed to upset her with news of rehearsals that would prevent us from meeting her and acted as though we had no clue what she really wanted for her birthday.. However, SURPRISE!! We managed to get her all she wanted and more and even managed to scare her out of her wits with the news of a mud spa that awaited her.. Nothing beats the look on her face when she was told that the open-air Japanese spa thing was where we had fixed her an appointment.. That was a classic.. Im so glad we managed to pull this through.. That smile on her face made all the trouble and aches worthwhile.. :) The flowers, the photoshopped pictures, the wrapping, the card, the clothes, shoes, bag and the pretty cake.. It all seemed so worth the effort :) And not to mention slacking at Esplanade library to watch 'Kaadhalan', smuggling in cans of milo and bars of chocolate.. It was really memorable...

A big thank you to Sailu for being a wonderful partner in crime, to Chitra for her genius plans in traumatising Vic and playing along with us, to Selva for coming down in the midst of work and helping with the wrapping and preventing the flames from going off on the cake.. :) To Naren for coming down at such short notice and helping me with the bags and for collaborating with us throughout... To Vimal for rushing down after work and joining us and for not complaining about our madness while watching 'Kaadhalan'.. :)

Thaipusam

I went for Thaipusam.. No, no it's not a new thing going for it but the experience this time was totally different.. I normally just get off the train, find a spot in front of Park Mall and stay there and watch the procession of Kavadis.. This time, however I went with Sai and Vic, whose idea of Thaipusam was totally different. They walk along the route of the kavadis and go to the temple in that impossible crowd.. With Venket weaving his way through the crowd and being dragged along, to huge Kavadis and spikes sticking out in every direction and having to do stunts to get through the crowd, to getting shoved in all directions, boy, was I traumatised.. Haha.. I have never felt so lost and traumatised before.. Girls, no more!!!! Hmph!!

But the best part of the evening was how we all turned up in Orange and looked like we were in uniforms.. Venket was pretty amused.. :)

Shiv's 21st

I think there is something seriously wrong with my head or something.. Constant migraines.. I think it's a result of thinking too much.. Too many activities.. Too many thoughts running about in my head I guess.. Dance and family and friends and life in itself.. Im stressed.. Majorly.. Oh well, Im sure things will get better..

Met Vaarsha darling finally and she was sticking to me all day.. Managed to get a biggg kiss from Ahmish also who, this time, has broken his finger (previously he broke the same leg twice) ..
